About 20,000 miles ago Matt and I did a house show in Westfield, WI on a big farm. It was a surprise birthday show for Julie thrown by her husband Jeff and we had a blast. They have the two cutest kids – Mason and Ember, who were living the dream running around that farm. Jeff has a couple VW Vans and has done a ton of work on them, so Matt and Jeff got to nerd out about van stuff.
Fast-forward over a year and who do we see in Knoxville, TN at our radio show, but our friends from Wisconsin! They are on their own van adventure at the moment and they stopped in to Knoxville to see our show and hang out. How great is that??
I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again – The people we have met on our tour have been so generous and kind. It continuously inspires us! Thank you Jeff and Julie – It was so good to see you guys!
