“Kelley moves effortlessly…from songs of loss and decay to hymns of love and grace.”– Paste Magazine FOUR STARS

“Kelley and Matt were phenomenal! Their music, their lyrics, and their souls captivated us all and they could not have been more personable and genuine. Our audience loved them and wouldn’t let them end their show! They told great stories, played incredible music, and poured their hearts and souls into their songs.” – E. Frischmuth, Sept. 2016

“Kelley’s voluminous voice, accompanied by Matt’s guitar, virtually filled our venue and the audience was visibly enthusiastic about the performance. From start to finish, the audience was under the musicians’ spell…We would love to see them again.” – H. Lauterwald, Nov. 2016

“The performance with Kelley and Matt was the one to mark the year. Everyone who attended was deeply moved by the joy and professional delivery of their music. They both emit an energy that becomes inspiring from the first note to the last. I could not recommend them any higher than to say they were the best musical experience we have had in years!” – J. Svoboda, Sept. 2015

Based out of Austin, TX, Kelley McRae called Brooklyn home for years before teaming up with guitarist Matt Castelein in 2011, when the duo traded in their NYC apartment for a VW camper van and hit the road full time. Thousands of miles and hundreds of shows later, they’ve toured coast to coast in the US, played to packed rooms across Europe, sold-out the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville as well as the Green Note in London, and continue to build a passionate and dedicated following on the strength of their live show. The new release THE WAYSIDE, debuted at #7 the EuroAmericana radio charts and hit #4 on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Contemporary Folk Album charts, and continues to impress critics. “McRae is the real deal, bringing some rare depth to the newschool Americana genre.” – New York Music Daily
